HUMAN RECONNECTION is an ongoing interactive portrait exhibition in which individuals sit for impromptu portrait sessions in public space. Initiated in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, the project responds to a rare social moment as people relearned how to connect with one another.

The work employs deliberate formal restraint: a minimal set, a single light, a white ground, and the absence of color. These constraints remove distraction and excess, leaving interaction as the primary variable. Each portrait depends entirely on the brief exchange between photographer and subject, allowing unguarded emotion to surface through direct human engagement.
